Hello friends of Kelli! thank you so much for hosting me today!! I am here representing a lovely blog called Fancy Little Thingsthat I was inspired to start just 1 year ago – and has grown into 9 amazing authors, 11 weekly topics, intentional posting to pour out some lovely into your lives! we have just recently re-branded with my graphic design business, byAimee.com to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and to inspire more women in faith. please stop by say hello!!

today I am sharing a fun project for the kiddos {or for adults that like having fun with their Easter candy}. more than 20 years ago I made one with my mom and will teach you how with just  a few materials, some patience and a few bags of jelly beans.

a few simple materials:

  • Chick feeder {I bought mine at Tractor Supply for $3.99}

  • Ball canning jar or similar mouth size

  • Cheap primer spray paint {$1.82 at Wal-Mart}

  • Acrylic paints in your favorite colors

  • Paint brushes

  • 2 bags of jelly beans!!

step #1: primer the chick feeder
step #2: add your design – feel free to copy my polka dots. they are so lovely, right?
step #3: be patient to let the paint completely dry
step #4: fill the base with jelly beans and the jar with jellybeans – carefully place the jar on top of the chick feeder and screw on securely.
simple enough, right??

each monday I post a new DIY project post.. and April’s theme is green living. interested to see the materials I’ll be using?? read about it here!
