Recipe {Garlic Cilantro Ribs}

We love ribs around here. My hubby does a great job grilling them, and we always tended to do the same few things- Lawry’s seasoning salt and perhaps some BBQ sauce. When I found this recipe in my Better Homes and Garden mag {I actually didn’t see it when I read the magazine- I saw it praised highly in the next month’s letter-to-the-editor} I knew we would love it. We love cilantro, and we love garlic, so what’s not to love about these ribs?
Oh, and they’re super easy! Just whirl a few ingredients around in your blender, marinate them overnight in the fridge, and grill!
Here are the ingredients:
Cilantro, one bunch
Garlic cloves, about 5
Sweet chili sauce, about 1/4 cup
“Rooster sauce”, about 2 Tbs.
{On a side note, this was my own addition to the marinade. When searching for the image below, I found there is a cookbook dedicated to the stuff! May go on my Christmas wish list. 🙂 }
1 cup soy sauce.
{The original recipe calls for low sodium, which I didn’t have,
so I did 1/2 cup soy sauce and 1/2 cup water.}
Also, add in 1 Tbs.  of sugar and 1/4 cup vegetable oil.
Blend until the garlic bulbs are completely blended. Pour over ribs (we used about a 7 pound rack) and marinade overnight.
Grill! I think hubby did about 1 hour on medium heat.  Enjoy!
