I know I said this earlier, but October is just flying by! I hope you’ve been enjoying the posts on Financial Savvy- I’ve enjoyed remembering the creative ways we’ve saved money, plus I’m thinking of new ways!
I wrote last week on “The Goodness of Goodwill,” but today, my outfit came from major retailers, minus my handbag. I spent a weekend with my mom and sister in August and we did lots of shopping. We hit up Bealls (aka Palais Royal and Stage Stores in other parts of the country) and solely shopped on the clearance racks.
Shirt: Bealls: $5.50
Jeans: Target’s deal of the day, $8 online
Tommy Hilfger Purse: $6 at Goodwill last summer
PS I am SO not a natural at posing. Ben was trying to get me to act more “natural” by acting like a photographer, then singing “What Does the Fox Say?” I could not stop laughing. Below is an example of that! (If you haven’t watched it, it’s hilarious! Thanks to my friend Lindsy for showing it to me!)
