{I am taking a break from this week’s “the encouragement project.”
 My mind is a more than little tired right now, but I’ll be back next week!}

Since I am miserably behind {on TONS of things!} I will give an update on my “31 days to a cleaner house“. If you looked at my house right now, you would seriously think someone came in and ransacked it. We had lots of people here this weekend– and it was so much fun! And it was clean Thursday. 🙂

Day 10- I vacuumed the kitchen. Yes, I love my little vacuum for my tile. I HATE sweeping so this is a good compromise!

Day 11- Dusted the bookshelf in my hubby’s office. Not much, but  Tuesdays are a hard-and-heavy day for homeschooling around here, so that’s what I got done!

Day 12- I vacuumed and steam cleaned our playroom upstairs {which coincidentally functions as our school room as well}. I have never steam cleaned it and it looks SO good!

Days 13-15- We were out of town on a camping trip!

Day 16-17- my baby was sick {throwing up!} so doing laundry kept me busy these days!

Day 18- we were having company in the afternoon, so I vacuumed the kitchen, as well as the entry hall, and mopped both of them as well. I also vacuumed the living room and did a little dusting. Deep cleaning of the kitchen.

Day 19- preparing for the weekend’s company! Cleaned the upstairs bathroom.

Day 20-  Cleaned my son’s room really well- rearranged furniture, got out hand-me-downs that now fit him,  cleaned under the bed, dusted nightstands, emptied trash, vacuumed. Whew! Also squeezed in a trip to Goodwill with my hubby that day- will show you my finds in a post soon!

Days 21-23- a whirlwind of activity! We had 3 guests Thursday night, 6 guests Friday night, and 12 guests Saturday night! LOTS of cooking and kitchen-cleaning. We had about 45 guests for lunch Sunday afternoon- thank goodness my mom and sis helped me cook!

Day 24- I took a SABBATH! I did not cook one meal or clean one thing. I was worn out and it was a great break!

Day 25- catching up on laundry.

Day 26 (today!)- Hoping to get back to deep cleaning today.

Sorry this is the MOST boring post ever, just trying to keep myself accountable to cleaning something, anything, everyday!
