Well ladies and gentlemen, that is a wrap on our 31 Days of Financial Savvy series. I can’t believe I stuck through it all month, at least for the most part. If you missed anything, I wrote about saving money on clothes by shopping clearance racks, at Goodwill, and at H&M. I also wrote about grocery shopping at Aldi and forgoing credit card debt. I have even more ways to save that I’ll be sharing over the next few months, so if you don’t already, you can subscribe to eat pray {read} love by e-mail. (Plus? You’ll get 3 free scripture printables!)
In other news, Christine from Xtine Danielle won my Dave Ramsey book giveaway- Congrats Christine! Everyone- be on the lookout for an awesome giveaway coming up next week- think new furniture! Believe me, you’ll want to stick around!
I’ll leave you with one last money-saving tip I’ve just discovered in the last few months- shop around for your electricity! If you live in a large city, chances are you’ll have an abundance of choices of electricity providers. The price per kilowatt hour can vary greatly, which of course affects your overall bill. Sometimes the super-low price is only good for a introductory period, such as 3 months, but then you can switch companies again! I’ve got it put into my Google calendar to look at prices every 3 months so I can switch if needed. You can go to powertochoose.org to check and see if your area can participate.
Oh, and I’ve missed talking about my family this month. So here’s a picture of my littlest family member- although sadly he’s not that little anymore. You’ll be hearing a lot more about them in November! See ya next month! 😉
