Today is my beautiful mom’s birthday. I am so glad she is my mom for so many reasons. She truly is one of the most selfless people I know.
I am also reopening my Etsy shop. I stopped adding things a year or so ago- we moved for the 2nd time in 9 months (in the same neighborhood), I had a third baby, and began homeschooling. So it is safe to say, things were a little crazy around here. Oh, I should say we had a fourth baby. The third was our church we planted somewhere in there along the way!
Anyway, you may wonder what my mom’s birthday has to do with Etsy?!?!
I will tell you. I had the vision a few weeks ago to create mirrors with scriptures from the Bible pertaining to inner beauty, and/or the joy that the Lord gives us. I want women to be able to look into the mirror and say, “My God thinks I am beautiful.” And he’s God, he created us, so he pretty much gets the final say. 🙂
I am calling this collection Pure Reflections. When I sat down to paint the first mirror, I teared up. I know so many women who struggle with feeling worthy of the love of our Savior. But he loves each and every one of us! So much!
So, I’m using verses such as Proverbs 31:30, and Ecclesiastes 3:11 as inspiration for these mirrors. And these verses remind me of my mom! She is such a godly example to me and my sister. And now I really miss her. 🙂 I made one for her birthday but failed to take a picture before I gave it to her.
Okay, it’s late, I’m starting to ramble, so here is a summary:
Check out my shop– and let me know if I can create a custom mirror for you!
And check out this giveaway- one of my mirrors may or may not part of it. And there may or may not be a discount code available for you to use in my shop.
Read Zephaniah 3:17 if you want to feel loved tonight.
And last but not least, Happy Birthday, Mom!
