Our Allie girl is what we call an animal whisperer. It all began on the 4th of July when she was only 4. We were at a fireworks display in Houston along with hundreds of thousands of other people and there was a stray kitten wandering around. She meandered right up to Allie and curled up in her lap! Over the years, there have been many times people will say, “Oh, that cat/dog/whatever doesn’t like kids” and 2 minutes later Allie has it eating out of the palm of her hand!
She loves our pets deeply as well of course. Right before the 4th of July incident, we brought home our sweet kitten Livvy. We all fell in love with her- I have always been a cat person but her sweet demeanor won everyone over. She quickly became part of the family and Allie treated her like her own baby!
Allie continues to give Livvy top-notch love and affection. Last time I was in HEB, I picked up Purina® Beyond® Grain Free Cat Food and a few new toys for her so Allie could throw her a little birthday party. On top of her love for animals, Allie is forever planning parties for anyone and everyone.
The little party was so much fun- at least for the kids. Livvy was a little confused as to what was going on! She certainly enjoyed her Purina® Beyond® as her “party food.” Both of our animals have picky palates for some reason!
Allie loved being able to treat Livvy to a fun afternoon and I loved letting Allie use her creativity.
