Hi there! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Ben and I, due to the generosity of a sweet friend, were able to attend the Houston Symphony on Saturday night. The music was absolutey beautiful- the talent of those musicians blew me away!
So I have a few things to share I hope you’ll find exciting….
First up…I finished writing my e-book!!!! I’m so incredibly excited. I’ve worked almost three years on it and to have it done feels amazing. It will be available on Amazon by the end of the week. It’s on Amazon now! Woohoo! I was reading it on my Kindle today to check for errors and I have to say it was a little bit surreal!
You can read a little about the book on the site I created for the book, His Grace is Enough and I’ll do a more in-depth post later this week about it here.
Thank you so much for being such supportive blog readers. I hope you’ll be able to purchase the book and that you’ll enjoy it and learn something from it. It shares our story of Landon’s birth and illness in more detail than I’ve shared on here- and the stories of many others who have suffered through trials in life.
In other very exciting news, my high school friend Brooke and her family are working on adopting a sweet girl from China. Her name will be Annabelle and I’m just so excited for them! They are featured on GiveOneSaveOne this week. I didn’t know much about this site, but it’s an amazing opportunity for anyone to help with others’ adoptions! Basically, one family is featured each week and readers are encouraged to donate at least one dollar to help with offset their adoption costs. (In case you haven’t heard, international adoptions are crazy expensive!)
That’s her family pictured above- her little boys are so precious and are already praying for their new sister!
Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing one of our very favorite recipes. “See” you then!
Congratulations on the book! It’s such a fantastic accomplishment.
Wow congrats on the E-book! I will definitely have to check that out! That’s a dream of mine to write an e-book one day so I can imagine how great it feels to be done! Sounds like you’ve been busy.. the orchestra sounds incredible!
