Hi friends! It’s hot here in Texas and guess what? We came home from a weekend in our hometown to a broken A/C on Tuesday. Thankfully a friend let us borrow a window unit that we put in our bedroom. We’ve been piling all in one room the last few nights. Our daughters are still with my parents so it’s only Ben, the boys, and me. I’m so thankful it will be fixed tonight!
Speaking of summer, it’s on the mind since it’s been a scorcher the last few days! I found several summer-themed posts from last week’s life of the party that I think you’ll enjoy!
First up, this Summer Lovin’ survival bag by Busy Being Jennifer is too cute! She even gives a free embroidery pattern if you want to make your own bag! Be sure to hop over to her blog to see what she keeps in the bag!
I also love these DIY bubble shooters on the kids’ activities blog. I’m a sucker for bubbles in any form!
I’m also crazy about this “At Home Ice Cream Truck” idea from Colorado Spring Tours. It costs at least $10 a pop to get all my kids an ice cream from the truck, (and for that reason it never happens!) and Camille tells her great idea AND how her kids each their treats! Be sure to check it out!
Now it’s your turn! Link up your favorite recipes, crafts, DIYs- whatever you want to bring to “the party!”
