Move it, Move it {Mix it up!}

In case anyone noticed last week, I totally slacked off on my Move It, Move It post, opting for a much-more-fun Christmas ornament guest post instead. Fortunately, I did not slack off on my actual moving. 🙂 I have been at this challenge for 28 days now, and if my memory serves me correctly, I have missed only 2 days. {Oh, and major bonus, I have lost around 8.5 pounds!}
Today, I want to talk a bit about variety. Since starting this challenge to be physically active for 40 days straight, I have walked, jogged, done the elliptical, spent lots of time on weight machines, played freeze tag with my kids, ran the stairs in our house, done a salsa video at home, and this morning, I did Body Combat for the very first time. (at 5:30 am! Thanks to two good friends, Larami and Mitzi, for meeting me there!)

{Oh, I also did this cuh-razy four-minute workout! I thought I was in semi-good shape until this business!}

I really think that this variety has helped keep me going, especially since a lot of time I am working out alone. I hope to add swimming to the mix soon as well. {Yes, in Texas, we can swim in outdoor pools just about 10 months out of the year!}
