… and no we’re not pregnant. đ I’m so excited to tell you guys that haven’t been following along on my facebook page– we are now the owners of 2 acres and a farmhouse in Houston! Now granted, the farmhouse was completely unlivable when we closed 2 weeks ago (think seeing dirt instead of floors and a snake inside the house. yep.)Â but we’re quickly remedying that and hope to be in by mid-November. That means there’s lots of packing, cleaning and touching up to do here at our current house and lots of tearing down, remodeling, and decisions (oh, my the amount of decisions!) at the new place.

We are super excited for this new place and really feel that God placed in our lives at just the right time. The kids are super happy as well, if not a little nostalgic about leaving this house. As my almost-five-year- old told me, “Mama, I’ve never moved before!”
Please pray for our family as we go through a couple of VERY busy months- Ben actually has the flu right now (it’s T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E. and the only year he’s ever received a flu shot. Weird.) but we’re hoping to be painting walls in the next few days! Oh, you can keep up with the progress on the farmhouse on our new blog FarmhouseFlip.com. Yes I needed something else to do ;).
