My wonderful hubby is leaving today for a a mission trip to Africa. I am very excited for him to have this opportunity, but if I am being honest, I am a little scared, too. I know that I will have a new appreciation for single moms when this week is over. Please pray for me to have patience with my three little ones- this separation is going to be hard on them, too. Oh, and my 7-month old is sick now.
For hubby, please pray that God will give him a strong body, clear mind, and resilient spirit. He is going to get the opportunity to share with {and learn from, I am sure} a group of pastors in Kenya, as well as participate in construction on a neonatal intensive care unit in Zambia. He is super-excited about the NICU building since our first-born spent many days in the NICU at birth. It will be a very meaningful experience for him.
Above all, pray that Christ would be glorified in his going, and my staying.
