I don’t know what its draw is, but I love the store ULTA. Maybe it’s the endless aisles of fun beauty products. Maybe it’s how organized it is. {Because clearly, most places I go are going to be more organized than a house with three little ones under 6.} Or maybe, just maybe, it’s their great GWP! What is GWP, you ask? It’s gifts with purchase. Stuff you get for free for buying their make-up.
I used to buy Clinique, way back in the B.C. days {before children. Probably before marriage, for that matter} They also did GWP, but they were usually little dinky travel sized lipsticks that would last for an application or two, and and some anti-aging stuff that I didn’t think I needed at the time.
But ULTA’s GWP {at least this “fall”} is another story. I had to spend $17.50- I got a foundation for $12.50 and nail polish for $6. Now this is way more than I would normally spend on make-up- I usually go for coupons and whatever is cheapest. But the GWP totally made it worth it.
Here is a picture of what I got and the breakdown of price:
ULTA foundation- $12.50
ULTA nail polish- $6
(2) Nivea lip balm- $5.08/ used $3 off 2 coupon- $2.08 {Love this stuff!}
Pantene- $3.99- used free product coupon- $0
GWP- $0
– $3.50 ULTA coupon (for $10 or more purchase)
$17.08 plus tax for everything you see pictured above!
The GWP says it’s a $75 value- not sure about that but it was several full-sized items:
(2) eyeliner sticks
(2) full-size eyeshadows- 4 colors in each
(1) full-size mascara
(1) full-size lip gloss
(1) blush
(1) nail polish
(1) lipstick
(1) cosmetics bag
Not a bad deal, eh?
And, the good part for YOU is- I really don’t need everything I got for free- so check back next week for a give away of a few of the items pictured!
I need to go shopping with you!!
